More about Bling: About a year or so after we bought her, she started to lose weight and have mild colic at big shows and rodeos, then started colicking at home. 3 trips to the vet (2 overnight or more stays), were inconclusive on why the weight loss and colic. I remembered reading somewhere about 98% of horses off the race track (which Bling was) and 90 % performance horses had ulcers. I had also heard/read somewhere that horses with ulcers eat grass, especially spring grass to ease their discomfort. I had mentioned this to a mutual friend and she recommended I contact you and put the mare on Alpha-Boost. I did, and the results were nothing short of amazing!! After 2 days of it (drenching) she started eating her feed again. Within a week we (and others) noticed she'd started putting on weight which itself is amazing, because usually you don't see weight results that quickly. Hernia/Lawsonia/Roundworms: Despite having a descended bowel in her hernia, compounded with mature roundworms, pneumonia,ulcers and a bout with lawsonia, this filly made a full recovery. To say she was a bit behind was an understatement. This filly was immature and small, her hair coat was coarse, dull and brittle. Her hooves were not growing and she was full of ulcers. I just wanted to share a one month photo with you of our worst case mare. When we picked her up April 30th, 2011, she was rated under a 1 on body scale, unsure if she would even survive the ride to our farm.She is now at a little over a one, still very frail but out of harms way now and on the road to recovery. Her name is ShyAnne (light brown)a Mexican Mustang mare 7 years old. Bootsy (black) a just 2 year old Arabian filly was at under a 1 also on body scale. As you look at the photo's you can see what your product has done for her. And please do feel free to use the photo's for your own advertisement, that is the least I can do for you helping me get Shy & Bootsy back into horse's again.
